Modesto Nuts Night—June 6th
Friday June 6 at 6:00 PM, Modesto Nuts Night for Salida Little League. Tickets are $5 each. Team Moms', check with your team to see who would like to buy tickets. The kids will have an opportunity to go out on the field before the game and participate in activities. When you get a count and money, please forward it to Kim by May 17th.
Uniform Instructions
SLL provided uniforms (jerseys) may be washed on the gentle cycle in the washing machine but not put into the dryer. If there is any damage to the uniforms the league will not pay for replacements.
Team Mom Responsibilities
Thanks again for volunteering to be Team Mom. The League could not run smoothly without your help! We are relying on you to give important league information out to your parents. Below are some of the basic duties we will ask you to coordinate.
Uniforms:
Team names and colors have been determined. All of your team members should wear the same color baseball/softball pants, socks and belts. Contact your parents with the information and have them purchase these items prior to opening day.
Note to T-Ball parents:
Athletic Supporters are required for safety reasons. Tennis shoes may be worn at this age, but cleats are preferable.

Prior to opening day, you or your manager will receive a call to pick up your uniforms (shirts and hats). Please coordinate the distribution of uniforms to your team. Sizes were selected during the registration process, so all uniforms should fit each child.
A Little League “patch” will also be given to you for each child on your team. Please make sure each parent on your team receives this patch, and more importantly sews it to the left sleeve of the uniform shirt.
Hats are embroidered with the Salida Little League Logo on front. Some teams prefer to have the child’s name embroidered on the back of the hat at their own cost. You may be asked to coordinate this effort for your manager. Please keep in mind that any embroidery should be completed in a timely manner so that children can wear their hats on game day.

Team Banner:
It is a Salida Little League tradition to have a team banner for the opening day parade and to display during games. This banner can be hand made if you are crafty, or purchased at a local printer. The manager may decide to take care of this cost, or you can parents to contribute.

Snack Bar Schedule:
When your team is scheduled as home team, it is your responsibility to make sure the snack bar is covered by a parent. As team mom, you need to create a snack bar/tote schedule.
2 parents are needed to work the snack bar for all home games at Salida Park. The travel snack tote, cooler and cash box needs to be picked up for all home games at Sisk Elementary and/or Mildred Perkins.
GAMES at SALIDA PARK WILL NOT BEGIN IF SNACKBAR IS NOT COVERED.
Home Team for games at Mildred Perkins or Sisk Elementary are responsible for returning the snack tote and money box to the park.
Game day Snacks:
After game snacks/drinks are optional per team. If your team will be having a snack create a schedule for parents to bring something on a particular day.
Picture Day:
You will be given the picture packets for your entire team. Please distribute them to your parents along with date and time for your individual and team pictures. Please encourage your parents to select their picture packets and enclose payment prior to picture day. This will expedite the process.
